Fund4Trees is a charity that supports sustainable treescapes by:

  1. promoting for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment by promoting sustainable treescapes.
  2. advancing the education of the public in the conservation, protection and improvement of trees in the physical and natural environment.
  3. advancing research for the public benefit in all aspects of trees and to publish the useful results.

Our main fundraising activity is an annual sponsored cycling event in aid of tree research called Ride for Research. In 2013 we launched Donate One Job – allowing anyone working in arboriculture and forestry to donate a professional fee to support their industry.

The inaugural 2011 Ride for Research

Formed as an organisation in 2011 our work, before becoming registered as a charity, was supported by a number of charities and we’ve raised funds to support tree research. Fund4Trees was registered in its own right as a charity in England & Wales in 2013.

We have a growing legacy of work thanks to the support of riders, donors and other organisations – read more.
